I have a bachelors degree in Special Education with an Emphasis in Rehabilitation. The rehabilitation emphasis gives me a unique and specific set of skills. I have the ability to examine a large or individual process and approach it with many different techniques to maximize success and efficiency.
My program development skills come from working in the activities department of a senior retirement home. This gave me the skill of dealing with a unique population. It required creativity, empathy, precision, organization and mostly accountability.
My experience bartending and working in the service industry helped me develop the skill of hard work. It helped me to be firm and set boundaries when I needed to all while keeping a good balance and helping everyone have a fun and safe night.
My goal is to be in a position where I can thrive and grow. I want to utilize my skills while being part of a cause that I am passionate about, small or large scale.
